Short-Film & Movement Performance

“1 DE 3” is an attempt to explore the migratory phenomenon, the sensitive search for home, identity and the connection to our root. A filmic experience where performance, audiovisual and narrative comes to life in a shared space. How we reincarnate “home” through sensations, actions and habits, that embody the walked path between the origin and the new destination. This film aims to portray the sensitivity and the intimacy of the rituals that help migrants cope with the journey of the foundation of new life by translating voices, expressions and emotions of real people into raw physicality that appears from the shared consciousness conditioned by the migration system. Incarnating the “dramedy” of becoming and belonging in a place far from one's homeland. The performers embark on a humble odyssey of migration. Looking to retrieve more than what their own experiences have delivered.
